Bush Still Naive re Islam
By J. Grant Swank Jr. (10/12/05)
I am pro-US President George W. Bush. He’s mortal; therefore, he has flaws. However, as mortals go, I’m for Mr. Bush .
Because I am so pro-Bush it disturbs me when he addresses a group about Islam and still remains somewhat naïve about that killing cult.
Is it that he is somewhat kind toward Muslims because he does not want blood flowing in American streets? Is it that he believes that he can lure some peace-abiding Muslims to his thought patterns by giving them a margin of cordiality? Or is Mr. Bush just plain naïve about Islam like he was some time ago when he called it a "peace religion." Of course, many were doing that. And sadly there are many still doing that.
I listened today to a so-called conservative talk-show fellow who exposed his naivete about the Muslim reality big time. It made me wince. I felt quite uncomfortable listening to his useless chatter when he seems not to understand that real threat against the global community.
Again, I have concluded America is too nice when it comes to religious tolerance. We will permit just about anything. Being a Christian pastor, I thank God for freedom of religion in America. I just wish the political and theological liberals did not have such sway in certain power structures and with the liberal mainline media. However, the spiritually fallen world is not perfect and I never expect it to be.
Nevertheless, with freedom of religion comes a certain naïveté about Islam that permits its sleeper cells to increase, its 4000 web sites to court the American public with outright lies and the truth about this enemy to be swept under the gracious rug.
When Mr. Bush called on the Muslims themselves to "join in denouncing" the radical Islamics, I could not help but agree. However, I wanted to respond to Mr. Bush by asking: And have you come upon any doing that? Have you? Where are they? Or by your remarks are you kindly baiting some to do that?
Of course, Islamics don’t castigate their Islamic "brothers and sisters" who are out to kill off the non-Muslims for the mild-mannered Islamics read the same Korna as the killers. They pray to the same Allah as the killers. They believe the same devilish doctrine as the killers.
They just have not yet acted out their murderous doctrines. Will the day come when they get the signal to take over America via mosque clerics? Then will Mr. Bush realize that there are really no Muslim leaders putting down the Islamic murderers global. If there are, they are soon mugged, put in the corner and told to get back to slitting another throat.
The danger of Mr. Bush’s speech was that he redefined Islam. That just can’t happen. Once a tolerant American starts to make Islam loving and beautiful, he’s in deep, deep theological and academic, let alone political and societal, trouble.
Islam is not so much a religion among religions as it is a killing cult. Every non-Muslim is to be slain. That’s it.
There is no Good Samaritan passage in the Koran. There is no Jesus who dies on the cross to redeem repentant humanity of their sins. There is no Love Chapter as I Corinthians 13. There is no Shepherd’s Psalm as Psalm 23. There is no promise of a holy heaven with the angel hosts and saved-of-soul of all time. There is no Sermon on the Mount with the Beatitudes in accenting staccatos. There is no Jesus telling His disciples to wash one another’s feet and so be the greatest in the eternal Kingdom.
In the Koran there are explicit recitations of Allah demanding that His disciples do away with the Jews first and then the Gentiles who are not Muslims. Muslims who refuse to do that must be slain as cowards. Blood letting, murder, slaughter, cruelty, brutality, madness and meanness are the bottom line doctrines of the Koran.
Women are considered worse than dung. They are humiliated from birth and permitted to be shot in the head if they trespass against any of their males. What kind of religion is that? It is not a religion. It is a killing cult.
As Denial Pipes points out: http://www.americandaily.com/article/9656
"Bush’s speech is far from perfect. His quoting the Koran harks back to 2001, when he instructed Muslims about the true nature of their faith; his comment about extremists distorting ‘the idea of jihad’ unfortunately implies that jihad is a good thing."
The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) must have been indoctrinating the President on that one. One of that sites’ favorite pastimes is telling the reading public that "jihad" is a nice thing. And now Mr. Bush is saying the same thing. Not true. Not real. Not good.
"Most serious, though, is his limiting the ‘radical Islamic empire’ (or caliphate) to just the Spain-to-Indonesia region, for Islamists have a global vision that requires control over non-Muslim countries too – and specifically the United States.
"Their universal ambitions certainly can be stopped, but first they must be understood and resisted. Only when Americans realize that the Islamists intend to replace the U.S. Constitution with Shari’a will they enter the fourth and final era of this war."
Mr. Bush, please listen to Mr. Pipes who speaks truth.
