Nix Troops to Iraq
By J. Grant Swank Jr. (01/11/07)
They are going to be put up for slaughter, just as present troops are already put up for slaughter.
Support our troops by bringing them home. Do not send 20,000 more troops to Iraq. Doing that will not do anything but increase the carnage.
Why am I so definite on this score? Because of reality.
Reality in Iraq is that street murderers rule the country. They actually do.
On TV newscasts Wednesday it was repeated that when militia are in an Iraqi neighborhood, street killers go under for awhile. As soon as the militia move out, torture and slaughter return many times over.
That is never going to stop. Never. Extremist Islamics adopt murder and maim as their religious right. Extremist Islamics thereby will, under Allah, stay their course till the end of time.
The Iraqi Parliament, international military forces, President Bush, and diplomatic missions do not govern Iraq’s present or future. Fanatic Muslim bloodthirsty gangs govern Iraq’s present and future.
The US Congress — whether controlled by Democrats or Republicans — will not be able to win in Iraq. Iraq’s street slayers don’t care a twit about the US Congress. They only care about bombing, the rush of blood flowing in Iraq’s avenues, and tripping up every American plan to bring peace to Iraq.
Ask any extremist Muslim in the Middle East if there will ever be peace in the Middle East. Each will swear under Allah that peace will never set foot in the Middle East. These fanatic Muslims have sworn their hides to warring against every civil move. They are willing to blow themselves up to prove their point. Why then can’t Western minds get this?
Iraq is but a carbon copy of the Middle East blood fountain.
Certainly President Bush is stymied as to what to do to win in Iraq. He also has a mind block. He is so out of touch with reality on Iraq that it is frightening. Yet he will not give up on his idealistic dream of a democracy plant in Iraq. As commendable as that is, it is not reality.
Check out the world’s democracies. They have Judeo-Christian heritages with biblical moral bases for their cultural foundations.
Iraq has no care for a Judeo-Christian base. It is given to the Koran’s cultic tenets.
In other words, the Judeo-Christian base is antithetical to the Koran’s base. They are direct opposites. The Judeo-Christian base fosters love for neighbor, caring for the unfortunate, erecting inner city missions, hospitals, learning centers, equal opportunities for all, working out the parable of the Good Samaritan, and living by the Golden Rule.
The Koran base fosters hate, destruction, mayhem, slaughter, sloshing the sword to right and left, extinguishing one’s own existence via suicide belts, instructing youngsters in beheading, demeaning females, and surging forth for a bloodletting Allah who demands madness as a cultural value.
President Bush was extremely and dangerously naïve in concluding that a Judeo-Christian heritage could slide into Iraq. He never took into account the Koran base to that Muslim country. One cannot impress upon a Muslim nation’s mindset a Judeo-Christian ethic. It is impossible. The two won’t mesh.
Therefore, sending more US troops to Iraq with the intention of quelling the anarchy is utter nonsense militarily, religiously, and intellectually. It is another attempt at losing. Before Mr. Bush leaves office, he will be even more depressed than he is today by "surging" these additional troops to an already impossible situation in Iraq.
This is an exceptionally sad time for America in that we are tangled in a conflict we will never win. Yet we have an executive who still dreams the impossible dream. In the meantime, more American lives will be laid low while Washington ignores the extremist Muslim street killers who rule that country.
