‘Where Have All The Doctors Gone?’
Harlingen, Texas, November 21, 2009:  I had to visit my doctor the other day.  I only had a forty-minute wait before being checked into an examining room, followed by another thirty-minute wait before my doctor walked through the door.  It wasn’t too bad this time and I did take my latest W.E.B. Griffin adventure book along to keep me company.  My wife also had a visit to her doctor this week.  She too had about two hours of waiting time.  All of this delay happened even with appointments scheduled weeks in advance.

The Founders meet the Democrats
Ah, the “common good” we hear those words, or at least words to that effect from the Democrats in Congress and the Senate. We hear it from our Democratic president too. We also hear a lot about “spreading the wealth”. The Democrats claim that it is their duty to use tax dollars to help certain Americans. Of course those tax dollars are not found growing on a Magic Money Tree. No, they come out of every working American’s paycheck.

Mukasey: Obama refusing ‘to face facts’ of war on terror
The former U.S. attorney general who as a judge presided over a trial following the 1993 terror attack on the World Trade Center says the decision by President Obama’s Justice Department to bring terror suspects into the U.S. and put them on trial in New York City will raise the danger level for the Big Apple.

How U.N. redefined ‘pandemic’ to heighten alarm over H1N1
World Health Organization quietly changed qualification of term in case of ‘swine flu’ - In light of a perceived swine flu outbreak, the World Health Organization raised its influenza pandemic alert to its second highest level in May - but evidence reveals the agency may have made it easier to classify the flu outbreak as a pandemic by changing its definition to omit “enormous numbers of deaths and illness” just prior to making its declaration.

All Pain, No Gain
Restricting and taxing energy use to prevent speculative climate disasters will be disastrous - “Electricity rates would necessarily skyrocket” under cap-and-trade,” President Obama has admitted. “Industry will have to retrofit its operations. That will cost money, and they will pass that cost on to consumers.” Cap-and-trade, Senator Ben Cardin (D-MD) eagerly observed, is “the most significant revenue-generating proposal of our time.”

Obama and Democrats Don’t Understand ‘Sacrifice’
The jihadi movement has never made any bones about the fact that it intends to destroy western civilization from within using the West’s own principles as weapons against it. This is why, for instance, that radical Islamists have been angling to institute Sharia “law” inside England and Canada and to a lesser extent in the U.S.A. But this effort isn’t even necessary when, in the U.S. for instance, a large part of the political class cannot even agree upon what the word “sacrifice” means for its own, much less find themselves able to define the terms of enemies to their civilization. What does terrorism, Sharia, or radicalism mean when Democrats cannot even properly understand what “sacrifice” means in the context of what happened at Fort Hood, Texas?
